Have you ever wondered why multi-player dominos games are such a hit worldwide? Well if you haven't tried it yet, it's about time you experience the excitement and fun it offers. The goal in multi-player dominos games is to put all the tiles in your possession into the table before someone else does so. The game uses 28 tiles, with each tile having two sides printed with pips. The pips, or dots, vary in number and range between 0 and 6. For instance, some tiles have 1-0, 1-1 and 0-0. A tile that's printed with the same number of pips on both sides is known as a "double." All the pip combinations are unique in every tile so no tile is ever the same.
Once this multi-player dominos games start, each participant is given a set of 7 tiles. The player who gets the highest double, or the biggest rank of tiles in case no one has a double, will make the first move. Two players will alternately put a tile on the table. In choosing what tile to put, each player must pick a tile that has a corresponding amount of pips on either side of the domino. The tile can be placed on either end of the chain. For instance, if there is a tile with 5-4 pips on one end of the chain, a player can pick a 4-3 and connect it. Remember that every time a tile is placed, it should be positioned horizontally or vertically, making sure that the corresponding sides are adjacent.
A double can only be placed perpendicularly to the prior tile, while the tile placed after a double should also be perpendicular to it. In addition, it is also worth noting that players are not allowed to connect any tile to any end of the domino chain once it is locked by other tiles. A tile also cannot be connected to the end of the chain when the chain has already reached the end of the table. When a player can no longer move his tiles, he can get tiles from the pile on the table but he can only do this when he only has 2 tiles left or less. If he has more than two tiles, he needs to pass and wait until he can connect his tiles on the chain.
The game continues until one of the players puts all his tiles on the chain. Once a winner emerges, the pips on the remaining players' tiles would be added to the winner's score. On instances when both gamers still got tiles but can't make a move anymore, the round is terminated. At this time, the player who has a smaller total of pips on his tiles wins the round. The difference between the two gamer's number of pips would be added to the winner's score. The next round will then begin and the game will continue until a player gets a score of 100. When playing, be sharp and use strategies so you can block other players' paths and put all your tiles on the chain swiftly.
